Ontology is a photographic project which navigates the plexus of belonging in an over-connected world. Centered around primal experience, of both anxiety and depression, Ontology explores solitude, space, liminality and inter-personal relationships through the gathering of images across time and place. Moving between self-portraiture, portraiture and landscape imagery, Ontology weaves these intersecting modes of communication around the ridges of human experience, asking the observer to enter and take part in the familiarity of transience, that which is at once interconnected and alone.
